Join Europe's leading experts to discuss the latest advancements in amyloidosis typing by proteomics, clinical cases interpretation, quality and validation.
Bringing together scientists and clinicians since 2017
The European Proteomics Amyloid Network (EPAN) is an international Europe-centered collaboration network established in 2017, bringing together scientists and clinicians with a shared interest in the development and application of proteomics for amyloid diagnosis and research.
EPAN provides a forum for open scientific exchange, discussion of best practices, and inter-laboratory collaboration in amyloid typing and related research. Previous meetings have been held in London (2017), Uppsala (2019), Kiel (2023) and Pavia (2025), with additional online meetings and working-group specific activities.
As mass spectrometry technologies become more widely accessible, the network has expanded and 17 countries are now represented.
